PARENTS - DNA

The chromosome is an organized structure of DNA and protein that is found in cells. It is a single piece of coiled DNA containing many genes, regulatory elements and other nucleotide sequences. Human cells contain 23 pairs of chromosomes for a total of 46. There are 22 pairs of autosomes and one pair of sex chromosomes. The sex chromosomes are the X and Y chromosome.

I could then also look at how children resemble there PARENTS, through DNA, often the child will look more like one parent than the other, although both the parents have contributed to the child's appearance. Its known that individual traits are determined by the persons genes.
